Kazim and Myra - Wedding Film

I remember the day I told Kazim I was getting engaged - I sent him a simple text and he immediately called me asking to know more and telling me “you can’t just text this kind of thing”.

So when he got married, it meant a lot that I got to capture his walima event in Toronto. We captured the Mosque event at Jaffari Community Centre in Vaughan and then the little family part at his house shortly after. We even did a photo shoot at Chaiiwala in Mississauga.

Myra and Kazim are both such amazing and wonderful people, and I wanted to show that with this film. So we set up a second shoot (which we now offer as a portrait shoot) where we captured them on a fun date - playing board games and going to a local coffee shop and book store (Covernotes in Richmond Hill).

Hearing them talk about each other, though, is what I really love. You can tell they have such a deep connection and appreciation for each other. You can tell they are in love. I hope you enjoy watching the film.
