Our Story - The Shia Research Institute

The Shia Research Institute was found in Toronto, Canada and are an educational institution that engages in dialogue, expands upon and produces ideas, and performs research in an effort to further the academic study of Shi’a Islam.

With this film, we had one goal - to make their mission and purpose clear. With a big mission that asks the viewer to think futuristically, we wanted to focus this video on making sure the message was easy to understand and coherent. We also wanted to make sure that people understood why the Shia Research Institute needed to exist.

We did this by identifying the key elements of the video and building a script around it. We used stock footage and event documentation to help guide our story visually. We workshopped the video to make sure that anyone who was watching it was able to take away the message.
