Seriously…you won’t want to share these wings!
We’re huge fans of Angry Wings in Richmond Hill, Canada for two reasons - their food is phenomenal and Raza (the owner and lead chef at Angry Wings). Raza was even the subject of our short documentary The Way of The Wing.
After making our Blueberry Flame Shawarma video for Tahini’s, we were inspired to continue making these types of videos. It’s our way of saying ‘we love this place’ and making something creative at the same time. So we pitched Raza, who was more than happy to be apart of it.
The two most important parts of this was the song and the acting. We knew we needed something slow and jazzy, and we needed Mujahid to sell these wings like they’re the best thing on earth (which isn’t hard - they’re so good). And we think those came together perfectly.
This could definitely be our favourite project of the year.
