Should You Hire a Wedding Videographer?

Weddings can be expensive, and it’s hard to figure out what you should book for your wedding.

Even when I was getting married, I was more worried about some of the other vendors and the venue than I was about hiring a wedding videographer.

So should you hire a wedding videographer? That honestly depends. But in this post, I’m going to outline a few reasons why you should consider hiring one to capture your special day.

Are Photos Enough?

Photography is essential for weddings, but photography only captures one aspect of your day. With video, you can capture the raw and authentic moments - the hugs and the tears, the look of surprise on your spouse, and all the moments in between. You get to experience your wedding day as if you were there.

The Importance of Audio

One key part of video is audio, and audio adds so much to the story. I personally believe audio brings your wedding video alive, and allows you to experience the moment like you’re there.

Watch our Tahiya and Mohammad film to see how audio plays a huge difference in your wedding memorabilia.

A Wedding Film Tells the Story

Our wedding films tell the stories of the couples they capture. We want to make sure that your wedding film is something that captures who you are and what your journey has been, and that’s why we put so much effort into the films we create. Although we have a certain style, each of our wedding films is tailored to the couple (and here’s one of our favourite examples).

We want to make sure that whoever watches the film gets to know who you are and how special your wedding day truly is.

Relive Your Wedding Day

4 years after my wedding day, I rewatched my wedding film. And it was such a beautiful experience.

Whether it’s 4 years or 30 years from the day you get married, it’s such a special experience to rewatch your wedding film. You can see the people you were at that time, and reflect on how you’ve grown together. You can relive all those moments with family and friends. All those meaningful words and those little moments of love.

You get to relive that through your wedding film.

We personally believe that a wedding film is an investment for your future. It’s something to capture one of the most special moments of your lives. It’s something that you’ll treasure for years to come.

But, of course, everyone’s situation is different. And I know it can be overwhelming - so that’s why we’re totally open to chat with you and see if it fits your needs.
